Luxembourg’s Stephany Ortega Trio China Tour, August 2026

The Consulate General of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Shanghai was delighted to attend the concert of the Luxembourgish Stephany Ortega Trio to Shanghai as part of their China tour.

With the support of Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg, the trio performed at TANK Shanghai Art Center on 15 August 2026, drawing a large audience of music lovers eager to experience their vibrant and captivating performance.

Their programme, Astor Piazzolla: Tango Passion!, paid tribute to the master of Tango Nuevo, reinterpreting his most beloved tangos and milongas through original arrangements that blended classical, contemporary, and popular influences. Stephany Ortega's lyrical voice brought remarkable emotion, passion, and sensuality to this celebrated repertoire.

The trio continued their China tour with performances in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu.
