Luxembourg offers top quality of life
According to a survey on the quality of life in 223 cities, conducted by Mercer, Luxembourg City ranks 19th. The human resources consultancy helps multinational companies and other employers to compensate employees fairly when placing them on international assignments. The survey analyses 39 factors relevant to expatriates, including standards of public services, recreational facilities and crime levels.
Mercer says Luxembourg's ranking reflects the country's solid and long-standing political stability, advanced health facilities and well-developed infrastructure.
