Luxembourg celebrates National day in Shanghai
On the occasion of the Luxembourg National Day the Luxembourg Consulate in Shanghai had invited not only people from Luxembourg but also friends of Luxembourg to celebrate at our former World Expo pavilion on the 20th of June. This year’s National Day had an additional touch, as we celebrated at the same time the 175th anniversary of the Luxembourg independence.
The guests were accommodated with food and beverages from the Grand-Duchy, crémant and wine from the Moselle region, famous Luxembourg beer Bofferding and our beloved Gromperekichelcher. We made the best effort to bring back the Gelle Fra to her second home in Shanghai and we are glad we could introduce our guests to our mascot, the two-tailed, crowned, red Lion.
