Luxembourg at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games
Luxembourg sent a delegation of athletes to the 2014 Youth Olympic Games hosted in Nanjing. Altogether four athletes competed across three sports at the competition from August 16th to 28th. Athletes included Elodie Tshilumba (athletics: high jump), Felix Penning (under 81kg Judo), Monique Olivier (swimming: 200m, 400m, 800m freestyle, 200m medley) and Julie Meynen (swimming: 50m and 100m freestyle, 50m and 100m butterfly).
They all proudly represented the colors of the country, with a special mention to Julie Meynen who missed the third podium’s step in the 50m freestyle by 1/100 second and Felix Penning who got the bronze at the mixed-team judo competition.
